At Soho House, as a Teeny Assistant you will ensure that all children in your care have their needs met while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in the Teeny Barn and our Teeny Pool. You will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging experience for children while ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times in both areas. This position requires a caring, responsible, and proactive approach to childcare, along with strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome, greet and meet members and guests with a professional but warm and friendly manner
- Interact and engage with all children
- Ensure the environment is safe for all children, parents and colleagues
- Provide a happy, stimulating environment for all children
- Ensure the cleanliness of Teeny Barn/Teeny Pool is kept to standard at all times
- Keep children entertained through various activities
- Meet all children’s personal needs including nappy changing and toileting at all times
- Report back any safeguarding or illness concerns you have to the management team
What we are looking for:
- A successful Teeny Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high‑profile venue and a natural flair for first‑class service.
- You’ll be reliable, friendly, and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, playgroup, or childcare setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and basic first aid.
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
