Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. The Role...
We are currently looking for an outstanding Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the smooth running of the restaurant operations whilst delivering exemplary service. You'll be consistent, reliable and excited to be part of leading a first-class team and growing the business. You will have a real passion for what you do, with the ability to build relationships with members and guests alike. Having previous experience in a similar management role, you will understand how to deliver quality service, working at pace, with a positive and engaging personality.

Main Duties...
- Coordinating daily restaurant management operations alongside the Restaurant Manager
- Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing member satisfaction
- Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Recommend ways to increase productivity and revenues
- Train new and current employees on proper member service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
What we are looking for...
- Proven work experience as a Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and Micros
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Fluent in English
- Organised and reliable
- Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
- Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Adaco advantageous
Expected working hours for a Assistant Restaurant Manager: Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes. Average hours 45 hours per week. Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16).
