Key Responsibilities..
We’re looking for a creative, culturally connected Social Media & Community Manager based in London to join our Global Social team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys creating content as much as planning strategy.
You’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of Soho House’s global social channels, while leading a private Instagram account for members only.
The members’ account will be a hyper-local social channel designed to bring our Houses, community and culture to life through real-time, insider content.
More personal and community-led than our global channels, it’s a place where members discover what’s happening across our Houses first, from new openings and events to member recommendations and behind-the-scenes moments.
Something you will be involved with launching from the get go.
Reporting to the Global Head of Social, you’ll work closely with Membership, Operations, Events and Marketing teams, while collaborating with the wider Global Social team to develop ideas, manage content calendars and deliver best-in-class social content across Soho House.
- Objectives
- Build awareness of everything happening across Soho House, including events, programming, new menus, openings, collaborations and member updates
- Create demand for the channel through exclusive access, sneak peeks and member-first moments
- Drive footfall into the Houses by encouraging members to make the most of their membership
- Build member connection, pride and community through authentic, local storytelling
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of the members-only Instagram account
- Capture and create social-first content across the Houses, events, launches and cultural moments
- Develop creative content ideas that encourage members to follow and engage with the channel
- Produce engaging Reels, Stories and feed content
- Write copy that feels conversational, informative and distinctly local
- Build strong relationships with Membership, Events and Operations teams to stay ahead of programming and identify content opportunities
- Manage community engagement, including comments and direct messages
- Monitor channel performance and deliver regular reporting with recommendations for optimisation
- Global Social

- Support community management across global platforms when required
- Work with teams across the business to source content and identify social opportunities
- Assist with content planning around House openings, campaigns, events and key business moments
- Monitor performance and contribute insights to inform future content strategy
- Support content shoots, creator collaborations and social-first productions where required
- Who We’re Looking For
- A proactive social media manager and content creator with excellent creative instincts
- Strong understanding of Instagram, content creation and community building
- Confident capturing and editing content on mobile
- Excellent copywriting skills with a warm, engaging tone of voice
- Highly organised, with experience managing multiple content calendars and priorities
- Comfortable interpreting performance data and turning insights into action
- Collaborative, self-motivated and excited to work across both local and global social initiatives
