Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service that creates a positive experience for the customer and generates loyalty.
- Ensure customers are greeted and looked after when browsing or purchasing products.
- Provide extra information about products and services on offer throughout the store and online as required.
- Offer alternatives when a product is not available.
- Deal with queries in a professional manner or pass them to the manager.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and quality of service.
- Maximise potential of products in the retail space to create sales.
- Maintain shop displays fully stocked and cleanliness standards.
- Be aware of best and slow selling items to improve sales.
- Give feedback to AM & Retail Manager about what is selling.
- Meet daily sales targets as part of the retail team.
- Source products from the back of house where required.
- Work towards daily/weekly sales targets, report to manager and finance teams.
- Successfully cash up at the end of the day.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar retail role.
- Deliver a high level of customer service.
- Communicate honestly, openly, and constructively.
- Creative flair and confident discussion of colours, styles, and trends in interiors.
- Demonstrate flexibility and innovation in a changing retail environment.
- Strong team player.
- Experience in furniture and lighting is an advantage.
