Soho Farmhouse is surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. We have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. There are multiple food and beverage outlets on site.

The Role...

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for managing the reservations process and operation, as well as coaching and motivating the team to deliver quality guest service and meet financial targets. The Reservations Supervisor oversees all reservation bookings.

Main Duties:

  • Liaising with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions
  • Maintaining the in-house reservations systems
  • Manage the daily operations and efficient running of the Reservations Department
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Hotel systems including Opera ORS, Opera PMS, CRM, etc.
  • Assist in answering any member or guest queries via telephone or email
  • Process reservations from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents
  • Know the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout
  • Know the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans
  • Communicate reservation information and all special requests to the front desk
  • Process cancellations and modifications and promptly relay this information to the front desk
  • Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows and communicate information to guests
  • Prepare expected arrival list for front office use
  • Update member and guests' profiles
  • Handle daily correspondence
  • Respond to inquiries and make reservations as needed
  • Be aware of all front office procedures
  • Willing to undertake any reasonable request made by management in any other areas of the house
