Key Duties
- Ensure every member is welcomed by name and guests are greeted warmly.
- Answer high‑volume phone lines for spa reservations, general inquiries, deliveries, and messages for members and employees.
- Be well‑versed in standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation, and amenity availability/pricing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment including the reception area, desk, and coat‑check closet.
- Perform guest list duties at the floor level, club, and/or rooftop (if applicable).
- Support, redirect, and problem‑solve in real‑time to ensure guest concerns are addressed and action items set.
- Assist guests by checking and retrieving their coats and other items left behind.
- Build relationships with members and guests, and communicate feedback to management.
- Help create a fun, positive atmosphere by remaining approachable and professional.
- Assist management with new hires by training staff on Soho standards and daily service steps.
- Maintain updated knowledge of all facilities, offerings, events, and policies to inform guests confidently.
What We Are Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience in a front desk role
- Experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in reservation systems such as Book4Time or equivalent
- Calm under pressure and adept at resolving issues with a guest‑first mindset
Pay Range: £14,000—£14,000 GBP for the UK. The range may vary in other geographies based on market differences.
