At Soho House, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the full operation of the Club's dining spaces, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for members and their guests. This role is key to maintaining the highest standards of service, staff performance, and operational efficiency in a refined and fastâpaced hospitality environment. You will lead by example on the floor, motivating your team to deliver polished, personable service while managing the dayâtoâday running of the restaurant. You will work closely with the Head Chef, Events, and Membership teams to create memorable dining experiences that reflect the values and culture of the Club.

Key duties
- Drive exceptional service standards by developing and refining systems that enhance the experience for members, guests, and staff.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure every guest interaction is seamless, aligned with brand expectations, and delivered with consistency.
- Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent needs, participating in interviews, and evaluating candidates alongside People & Development.
- Oversee onboarding and development of new team members, ensuring the floor team is confident, polished, and guestâfocused.
- Train and coach staff on Soho House core values, roles, and service standards to build a highâperforming and knowledgeable team.
- Create efficient staff rotas, manage labour costs, and reduce unnecessary overtime to maintain operational excellence.
- Uphold and enforce standards of appearance, compliance, safety, and professionalism across the team.
- Oversee and drive an inclusive environment that ensures every member and team member both feels and embodies the Soho House Values.
- A strong understanding of product from food and drink to accommodation.
- Implement, oversee and understand the commercial viability of your business.
- Effective handsâon dayâtoâday management and problem solving both front and back of house operations.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar capacity.
- Thrive in fastâpaced, highâvolume environments and maintain calm, swiftly and effectively problemâsolving under pressure.
- Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
