At Soho House, a Linen Porter is a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across the club by ensuring all linen and laundry items are distributed, collected, and stored efficiently. You will support both the housekeeping and spa teams in delivering seamless service for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute clean linen, towels, robes, and other items to designated areas (guest rooms, spa, gym, changing rooms, etc.).
  • Collect used or soiled linen and transport it to the laundry area or external laundry service collection point.
  • Maintain linen storage rooms in an orderly, clean, and well‑stocked condition always.
  • Check deliveries from laundry services for accuracy and quality; report any shortages or damaged items.
  • Support housekeeping and spa teams with additional supplies during peak periods.
  • Assist in daily and weekly stock counts and report linen usage to the Head Housekeeper.
  • Ensure all trolleys, baskets, and equipment are clean, functional, and safely stored.
  • Always adhere to health & safety and manual handling procedures.
  • Respond to urgent linen or towel requests from departments promptly and courteously.

What we are looking for...

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, laundry, or porter role (preferably in hospitality or wellness)
  • Good physical fitness; ability to lift and move laundry loads safely
  • Strong organisation and time‑management skills
  • A reliable, positive, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic English communication skills
