Soho Home is looking for a global eCommerce Assistant responsible for the maintenance of sohohome.com (UK/US/ROW). Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining product details, site maintenance and optimisations, daily reporting and site checks including order flow management. It’s a fast-paced environment and we are looking for a candidate who is organised, proactive, with strong attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with seasonal and ad hoc product launches, ensuring content, imagery and categorisation are on-brand and in adherence to the critical path.
- Responsible for site, product and category checks, ensuring accuracy of content displayed.
- Implement onsite visual merchandising strategy as required and optimise products for organic search rankings.
- Support the wider team with daily sales tracking.
- Assist with reporting including price change insight, trend research and category analysis.
- Assist with weekly preorder additions to site, including updating any trackers and highlighting any areas of risk (e.g. units, delivery dates).
- Support with order flow management, backorder checks, stalled orders and communicate any issues to the wider business.
- Support the wider team with testing for new features or delivery rules on site.
- Collaborate with the product team to regularly review and improve product details, and update via import.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a head office retail role (e.g. operations, merchandising, ecommerce), minimum 1 year.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple work streams.
- High standard of written communication.
- Analytical platform experience ideal, e.g. Google Analytics and Content Square.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
