At Soho House, the Health Club Host is the welcoming face of our wellness spaces, ensuring that members and their guests enjoy a seamless, uplifting, and professional experience from the moment they arrive. You will act as the first point of contact in the Health Club, supporting operations across reception, fitness, spa, and pool areas while maintaining the highest service standards. This role is both member-facing and operational, combining hospitality with wellness knowledge to enhance the club’s lifestyle offering.

Key duties
- Welcome members and guests warmly on arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Provide information on club facilities, classes, spa treatments, and wellness services.
- Anticipate member needs, personalise service, and handle special requests with care.
- Manage bookings for spa, personal training, and fitness classes through the reservation system.
- Ensure facilities (locker rooms, poolside, gym, and spa reception) are always clean, tidy, and member-ready.
Operational Support
- Assist in coordinating daily schedules with the fitness and spa teams.
- Handle cash, billing, and POS transactions accurately where required.
- Support Health Club events, wellness promotions, and member engagement initiatives.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Operations or Facilities team.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with gym, spa, and pool staff to provide a seamless wellness journey for members and communicate clearly with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure standards are upheld.
Health & Safety
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures across spa, pool, and fitness areas.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and assist when required and ensure compliance with club standards and wellness best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- A successful Health Club Host for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
- You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Previous experience in hospitality, spa, fitness, or private members’ club environment preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of spa, fitness, or wellness services is desirable.
- Confident using booking systems or reservation software.
- Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand.
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
