The Role… At Soho House, as a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team to ensure that all areas of the club — including public spaces, guest areas, kitchen, spa, gym, and back-of-house — are kept in excellent condition. You’ll play a key role in supporting the club’s operations by ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and fully functional environment for members, guests, and staff. This hands-on role includes leadership responsibilities, regular inspections, scheduling maintenance works, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key duties…
- Supervise the daily maintenance operations of the property, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Allocate and monitor tasks to maintenance technicians, ensuring quality and timely completion
- Conduct regular inspections of all building areas and equipment, identifying and addressing maintenance issues proactively
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors, ensuring all works are delivered to standard and on schedule
- Maintain and manage the Preventative Maintenance Schedule (PPM)
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, permits, and safety inspections
- Support the club’s operations team during events or emergency repair situations
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping, kitchen, spa, and operations teams to minimise downtime or disruption
- Train and mentor junior team members to uphold high standards of work and safety awareness
What we are looking for...
A successful Maintenance Supervisor for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a building maintenance or engineering role, with 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities upkeep
- Experience managing contractors, PPM schedules, and maintenance logs
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and compliance standards
