White City House…
Located in the former BBC headquarters in West London, White City House features 1960s-style interiors, a state-of-the-art gym and rooftop pool and bar. The club features a screening room, a Cecconi\’s Northern Italian restaurant, our Japanese restaurant Pen Yen with cabaret performances, plus daily music and event programming. In addition, we have 45 bedrooms housed within the original Grade-II listed Helios building.
The Role…
We are seeking a
Runner
to join our West London team at
White City House (W12 7FR)
. As a Runner with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen (or drinks orders from the bar) to members\’ tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor. Other responsibilities include ensuring tables are set up for service.
What We Are Looking For…
- 1-2 years\’ experience in a busy high-profile hospitality venue (preferred but not essential)
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency
- Yes, yes, yes mentality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
- Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
