We have an amazing opportunity to join the Team in Canterbury as an Art Consultant! £24,000 – £26,000 per year. Closing Date: 30/6/24.

SOHO Fine Art is a very successful fine art gallery group, and we have an exciting position that may be perfect for you. Art experience is not essential, but a strong sales background with an interest and desire to sell luxury artwork to our discerning clients is a must. We will introduce you to the wonderful world of contemporary art and help you become an outstanding member of the team.

We believe in giving exceptional customer service and developing great relationships with our clients. We have a broad portfolio of artists and artwork that we enjoy sharing with them, and we work in partnership with the clients to create beautiful homes.

As an Art Consultant, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding both your personal sales targets and gallery targets as set by the Senior Leadership Team. You will develop and manage your own personal client portfolio and are expected to have regular contact with them to create sales opportunities. You will need to be a proactive self-starter and enjoy engaging with existing and potential clients both over the phone and in person.

You will take an active role in the merchandising of the art and the presentation of the gallery and will play a pivotal role in the success of marketing events and gallery exhibitions. This is an important appointment, which will offer the successful candidate a broad and exciting role, covering all aspects of sales, including both face-to-face and account management.

If you have an interest in contemporary art, 3+ years of retail sales experience, are warm and outgoing, and have the ability to sell to our discerning customers then please apply.
