We're seeking an experienced and energetic Bar Tender to join our team at Soho.

As a Bar Tender, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing high-quality drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
  • Interact with guests to take drink orders and make recommendations
  • Ensure that all bar equipment and supplies are well-maintained and properly stored
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate point of sale (POS) system

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bar Tender or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods of time, and work flexible hours
  • Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes
  • Responsible attitude towards serving alcohol and handling money

Responsibilities

A barback is a crucial support role in the bar industry, helping the bartenders keep the bar running smoothly. The key responsibilities of a barback at Soho include:

  • Maintaining bar inventory: Ensure that the bar is fully stocked with all the necessary supplies and ingredients, including glassware, alcohol, mixers, and fruit.
  • Assisting the bartenders: Help the bartenders with any tasks they may need assistance with, such as fetching ice, pouring drinks, and restocking supplies.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing: Keep the bar area clean and sanitary, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping the floor, and cleaning glasses.
  • Providing excellent customer service: Attend to any customer requests, provide a warm and friendly welcome, and ensure that all customers have a positive experience at the bar.
  • Following health and safety guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous barback experience, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.
