About the Role Capgemini Group (Sogeti) is looking for an SAP Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice. The role involves working with clients and partners to create custom solutions using SAP S/4 HANA and to design and implement automation strategies for testing SAP applications and integrations.Hybrid Working The work location is a blend of company offices, client sites, and home. You will not work from home 100% of the time.ResponsibilitiesGood experience in SAP S/4 HANA modules including SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO), SAP Material Management (MM), and SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM).Design and implement effective automation test strategies and plans for SAP applications and integrations.Use Tricentis TOSCA to develop and maintain automation frameworks for SAP.Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team performance.Collaborate with developers, analysts and other team members to integrate automation assets into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TOSCA Server, Jenkins or similar.Manage versions of test automation assets in code repositories like GIT.Ensure proper defect management processes and adherence to test life cycles for automated testing.Use Tricentis qTest for test management and ensure testing is on track with the project plan.Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, providing guidance and expertise in SAP test automation.Maintain eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) – five consecutive years of UK residency with no single absence over 28 days.Qualifications & ExperienceGood experience of leading SAP end‐to‐end automation testing, internally within SAP and externally with non‐SAP systems.Expertise in test automation tools, especially Tricentis Tosca.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation assets with tools like TOSCA Server.Familiarity with test management tools such as qTest and ability to produce reports for stakeholders.Attention to detail, problem‐solving skills and experience mentoring team members.Knowledge of test life cycles, defect management processes, risk/issue identification and test reports/metrics.ISTQB/ISEB certification in software testing (Foundation level or above) or willingness to obtain one.Flexibility to travel and work at various locations during the project.UK national and qualified for security clearance.Security Clearance To be appointed, you must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
