Softwerx is growing fast, and we are looking for an ambitious, experienced Sales Account Executive to drive new business for our secure365™ Security Managed Services portfolio. If you are a motivated salesperson who thrives on winning net-new midmarket customers and wants to build a career in a specialist, high-growth Microsoft security practice, this role is for you. We are a trusted Microsoft Security partner with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, security-focused services to organisations across the UK. You’ll be joining a high-performing team, selling solutions that customers genuinely need, in one of the most in-demand areas of technology.
Location
This is a hybrid role with weekly visits to the Cambridge Head Office at CB22 3GN (may change depending on business requirements) and occasional travel across the UK to customer sites, Microsoft partner events and public sector industry conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive net-new sales to monthly targets across our secure365â„¢ Security Managed Services portfolio.
- Cross-sell and up-sell additional Softwerx services, products, and solutions into the accounts you win.
- Partner closely with Marketing to help shape and execute effective demand-generation activity.
- Continue to strengthen your Microsoft security expertise to bring insight, value, and credibility to prospects and customers.
Essential Experience
- A proven track record of sales success (3+ years).
- A highly persistent, proactive approach to generating and closing new business.
- Evidence of growing and managing customer accounts to achieve higher revenue targets.
- The ability to work independently and deliver consistently against regular sales objectives.
Preferred Experience
- Direct experience in the cybersecurity sector.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft security ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) models.
- 5+ years of cybersecurity sales experience.
Package
- Competitive base salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
- Uncapped commission with OTE of £90,000+
- 25 days holiday plus UK public holidays
