Softwerx is seeking a dynamic Customer Marketing Coordinator with sharp project management skills and a meticulous eye for detail to plan and execute Softwerx’s Customer Success Program, covering customer-focused initiatives that add value, cement loyalty and open new opportunities for business expansion. The Customer Marketing Coordinator will be joining a growing marketing team in an exciting and collaborative fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Customer Success Manager, the successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication, administration and organisational skills. They must have a can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and will play a key role in the company’s overall growth strategy by effectively shaping the Customer Success Program to deliver actionable insights for the product development and sales teams.
Contract type: Permanent
Location: This is a remote hybrid role with occasional travel across the UK for events and weekly visits to the Cambridge Head Office at CB22 3GN (may change depending on business requirements).
Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end project management of the Customer Success Program, which includes but is not limited to in-person and online events, focus groups and awards ceremonies.
- Input into, and the end-to-end execution of Softwerx’s Customer Advocacy program in collaboration with a selected 3rd party agency as required.
- Align with sales and marketing to plan and execute Softwerx’s Microsoft First Awards, that recognises its customers dedication to a Microsoft First approach to security.
- Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with high-profile customers that are in Softwerx’s Platinum Club to ensure a mutual benefit and positive experience from customer advocacy initiatives.
- Design, manage and orchestrate customer-led events and campaigns for Softwerx’s Platinum Club to help customers realise the continued value from their partnership with Softwerx.
- Clear reporting to Senior Management on the progress and success of each program.
- Work closely with the Customer Success Manager to ensure all programs are delivered on time and within specification.
- Manage end-to-end event planning and reporting on the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights platform and with 3rd party suppliers as needed.
- Ensure all projects adhere to Softwerx’s brand guidelines and are executed to a high standard.
- Produce and deliver Softwerx’s Platinum Club webinars using Microsoft Teams.
- Attend and manage in-person Platinum Club events as required.
- Anticipate any future challenges during planning so they can be mitigated in good time.
- Work closely with other sales and marketing functions, taking on strategic projects where required that will align and contribute towards wider marketing and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Events, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a B2B customer-oriented marketing role.
- Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of customer-focused activities.
- Able to work independently and with a team, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with change, and a strong bias for action and attention to detail.
- Experience and evidence of building strong professional relationships quickly with high-profile and valuable clients.
- Very strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Very strong organisational skills, with a capacity to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Dynamics.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity industry.
- Experience executing customer-focused programs targeted at c-level audiences.
