We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of customer projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, and quality expectations are consistently met. Working in a collaborative environment, you will manage projects aligned to the SoftwareOne Project Delivery Framework and agreed delivery methodologies, coordinating across internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver small to medium-sized customer projects while supporting Delivery Leads on larger engagements.
- Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and change control to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare project documentation, maintain governance, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, consultants, analysts, and specialists to drive project success.
- Build strong customer and vendor relationships, resolving delivery challenges and ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Support presales activities, scope definition, and identify growth opportunities within existing projects.
- Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across project teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven IT Project Management experience within a Systems Integrator or large service organisation, with PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Strong understanding and practical application of PMP, PMI, or PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Experience using project management tools and delivery frameworks.
- Strong project financial management and reporting experience.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.
