The role involves driving new business growth across SAP transformation, migration, and managed services opportunities. This requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, market insight, and solution expertise to identify, qualify, and convert strategic opportunities into long-term client partnerships. You will work closely with Customer Account Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, and strategic partners to position the company as a trusted advisor—helping clients unlock value from their SAP investments and accelerate their journey to S/4HANA and cloud-based innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new SAP business opportunities across target industries and markets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities for SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and managed services.
- Lead early-stage customer engagements by uncovering business challenges, shaping needs, and defining compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and solution teams to scope, price, and package tailored SAP service offerings.
- Manage the full business development lifecycle: from qualification and proposal coordination to presentation and handover to sales and delivery teams.
- Engage regularly with SAP and cloud hyperscaler partners (Microsoft, AWS, Google) to align joint go-to-market strategies.
- Represent the company at SAP and industry events to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
- Track and report on opportunity progress, forecasts, and key performance indicators using CRM tools.
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen the company’s SAP brand and market positioning.

What we need to see from you
- Experience in business development, sales, or client engagement within the SAP or enterprise technology ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of SAP’s product landscape — especially S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and cloud services.
- Proven ability to generate leads and build strategic client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A consultative selling mindset with the ability to translate technology capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working with solution architects, bid teams, and delivery functions.
- Commercially sharp with a solid understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and deal governance.
- Strong grasp of industry-specific business processes and how SAP solutions can drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.
- Ability to articulate and quantify business benefits, ROI, and competitive advantages of SAP solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing the pre-sales cycle, including RFI/RFP responses, discovery workshops, and proposal development.
- Proactive in staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in account management and customer success.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and growth.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or AI-driven transformation offerings.
- Experience working in or with SAP partner organizations.
- Knowledge of managed services, AMS, or cloud migration sales models.
- Fluency in a second European language (e.g., Dutch, French, or Italian).
- Degree educated.
- SAP or Cloud Partner sales accreditations (e.g., SAP Sales Executive, Microsoft Cloud Partner) are a plus.
