- Would you enjoy engaging senior decision-makers and bringing together specialists, vendors, and partners to shape solutions that drive measurable business value?

As our new New Business Growth Manager, you will drive net-new customer acquisition, revenue, and gross-profit growth within the Manufacturing sector. You will identify and engage strategic prospects, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and turn their business and technology priorities into commercially valuable opportunities. Owning the full new-business sales cycle, you will create demand and lead opportunities from prospecting and discovery through solution development, negotiation, and contract close. Working with internal specialists, partners, and vendors, you will position us as a strategic technology partner and deliver compelling solutions for Manufacturing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, target and win new Manufacturing customers, with a clear focus on net-new logo acquisition and strategic customer growth.
- Build and maintain a high-quality new-business pipeline, proactively creating opportunities through outbound prospecting, executive networking, referrals, events, vendor relationships, and other demand-generation activities.
- Develop and execute strategic pursuit plans for priority prospects, identifying key stakeholders, customer challenges, competitive positioning, and effective routes to engagement.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers, including C-suite, IT, procurement, and operational stakeholders, positioning the organisation as a credible strategic technology partner.
- Translate customer priorities into compelling solutions, bringing together multiple technologies, services, vendors, and partners to address complex Manufacturing challenges.
- Lead the full new-business sales cycle, from discovery, proposals, and presentations through commercial negotiations and successful contract signature, coordinating internal and partner resources to maximise win probability.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline forecasts, while applying Manufacturing market, competitor, technology, and emerging customer insights to opportunity creation and strategic customer acquisition.
What we need to see from you
- Solid understanding of the Manufacturing sector, including its commercial, technology, and operational challenges, with the credibility to represent the organisation as an industry specialist.
- Proven experience winning new customers and creating opportunities, particularly through proactive prospecting and whitespace development rather than relying on an established account base.
- Ability to open doors and build trusted senior relationships within organisations where no established commercial relationship may exist.
- Experience developing and executing territory, account, and pursuit strategies for strategically important prospects, with the autonomy and accountability to take ownership from initial engagement through to close.
- Experience selling complex technology and service solutions, coordinating multiple stakeholders, internal specialists, vendors, and partners across potentially lengthy sales cycles, including discovery, proposals, and presentations.
- Good understanding of business and financial drivers, with the ability to develop outcome-led propositions and lead negotiations around pricing, services, contractual terms, and customer commitments.
