We are working with a rapidly growing software company that is looking to appoint a Chief People Officer to lead its people strategy through the next stage of growth. This is a critical senior leadership hire for a business entering its next stage of scale. The company has grown quickly and now needs a people leader who can build a more strategic, scalable, and commercially aligned People function to support continued expansion.
The Chief People Officer will work closely with the CEO and executive team to shape the organisation for the future - strengthening leadership capability, improving performance and talent systems, building scalable people processes, and ensuring the People team can keep pace with the wider business. This role would suit someone who has operated in a high-growth technology or software environment and understands what it takes to move a People function from being largely operational or administrative to becoming a strategic partner to the business.
Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing a people strategy aligned with the company’s commercial objectives and growth plans.
- Partnering closely with the CEO and executive team on organisational design, leadership effectiveness, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Building scalable HR processes, systems, and policies across talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, learning and development, employee engagement, and retention.
- Leading and developing the HR and talent teams, ensuring they are equipped to support a fast-moving software business.
- Significant HR leadership experience in a scaling technology or software company.
- A strong track record of supporting companies through rapid growth, organisational change, or international expansion.
- Strong understanding of organisational design, talent strategy, leadership development, compensation, performance management, and employee engagement.
