The VP, Strategic Program Leadership and Delivery is responsible for leading, scaling, and evolving a high-impact team of Onsite Program Directors (OPDs) who serve as strategic partners across SoftServe’s highest-priority client accounts. This executive role is critical to ensuring we maintain trusted, value-driven relationships with our clients while accelerating business growth through embedded, client-facing delivery leadership. This leader will set the strategic vision, define the operating model, and establish the governance framework for the OPD function - balancing commercial focus with delivery excellence.
Reporting to senior leadership within the Revenue Organization, the VP works closely with Client Success, Delivery, and Sales Executives to drive account growth, operational consistency, and exceptional client outcomes.
IF YOU ARE
- An experienced professional with 15+ years in IT services, consulting, or delivery-led account management
- A proven leader with 5+ years in people management roles, ideally leading hybrid client-facing/delivery teams
- Someone who has successfully grown strategic accounts or programs with measurable business impact
- Skilled at navigating matrixed, cross-functional organizations
- A strategic thinker with structured problem-solving skills
- An excellent communicator with strong client management abilities
- Well-versed in SDLC, delivery models, and service operations
- Emotionally intelligent and influential, even without formal authority
- Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving structures
- Educated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or IT (MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus)
- Willing to travel up to 25%
- Effective in a global, virtual work environment
AND YOU WANT TO
- Lead & Drive Strategy: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Onsite Program Directors (OPDs) across multiple client accounts; Establish the vision, strategy, and best practices for the OPD function; Define success metrics and KPIs for the team; track performance and optimize engagement models; Ensure consistency and quality of OPD delivery across the client portfolio.
- Own Program Oversight & Enablement: Guide OPDs in aligning SoftServe’s services with client strategic priorities; Review and advise on account development plans, risk management strategies, and delivery health; Oversee client satisfaction initiatives across the OPD portfolio and champion continuous improvement; Act as an escalation point for critical client issues managed by OPDs.
- Collaborate Cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Client Success Leaders to support account strategy and growth; Collaborate with internal Enablement and HR teams to define OPD onboarding and professional development paths; Facilitate knowledge sharing across accounts to drive consistency and performance.
- Build Operational Excellence: Build the operational model for OPDs, including role scope, governance, workflows, and reporting standards; Introduce tools, templates, and processes to support scale and effectiveness; Own reporting to executive leadership on OPD impact, growth opportunities, and key initiatives.
