Responsibilities
- Functions as a team leader or supervisor analysing client’s business and technical requirements to deliver a successful implementation and operations setup.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships and collaborative team environments with internal colleagues and client business/IT staff.
- Leads initial process to capture business requirements, system design, recommendations, and prototyping including potential solution options.
- Completing design documentation and defining implementation strategies to include outlining short-term and long-term options for clients.
- Completing project and operations planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementation including projecting costs and deliverables, resource planning and utilisation, charge management, and user support in designated areas based on scope.
- Completing system set-up and configuration to ensure technical design specifications to address client requirements.
- Supervising test development, completing test designs, and conducting system testing to ensure effective test execution strategy for the project.
- Identifying and resolving issues stemming from configuration and identified through testing.
- Develops training materials, identifies a delivery strategy, and facilitates training for end-users to ensure client satisfaction and successful end-user adoption.
- Directs final system set up and cutover, resolving any outstanding exception items or issues.
- Completes travel planning and logistics, project tracking, project status updates, tracking time and expenses, and ensuring adherence to project budget.
- Works with Developers, Business Development, Professional Services Management, and other resources to provide pre-sales assistance and accurate Statement of Work preparation.
- Provides training, coaching, and mentoring to other consultants and client contacts.
- Completes continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications and upgrade skillset in a timely manner and support team’s skill development.
- Guiding clients in continuous improvement in process and stabilising the system operations.
- Ensuring the delivery as per the defined process, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Guiding customers in upgrading the systems as per the market requirements.
Skillset
- 10 - 12 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Should have at least 2 full cycle implementations, 2 support projects experience, 1 upgrade and 1 rollout projects experience.
- Should possess good knowledge in ABAP RICEFW development which includes R/3 Reports, Function modules, SAP smart forms, Adobe forms, BDC, BAPI, LSMW, User exits, Enhancements, Interfaces, Data Dictionary, SAP scripts, Module pool Programming, ALE/IDOCs, ABAP Object orientation programming, CDS Views, OData, Web services.
- Proficiency in SAP HANA Modelling, S/4 HANA ABAP, Web Dyn Pro, Basis, PI, Portal and UI5 and FIORI are required.
- Proficiency in middleware technologies (SFTP, RFTSx, PI, HULFT) are required and should possess knowledge on integrating middleware systems with SAP system.
- Good knowledge on SPAU, SPDD will be an added advantage.
- Experience in BTP programming.
- Proficiency in SD, MM, APO (DP & SNP), PP, PDM, FI & CO modules is required (Functional flow, Tables used and frequent operations performed in these modules).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in solution designing, System architecture, I/F architecture design.
- SAP Certification and manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with IT landscape, Solution Architecture and cloud-based solutions.
- Good cooperation skills and able to work cross-capability with a mix of internal and external consultants.
- Experience of working for MNC clients and very good command of English language (speaking and writing).
- Demonstrate strong leadership, innovation, problem-solving and organisational skills.
