Join our Microsoft Alliances Team. The Alliances team at Softcat leads strategic vendor partnerships by aligning vendor capabilities with Softcat's technology goals. Driving Strategic Azure Partnerships for Innovation and Impact. The Microsoft Azure Alliance Manager will lead the strategic vision for Azure across key technology areas, working collaboratively to meet partnership objectives. They'll build relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives that support mutual goals.

As a Microsoft Azure Alliance Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing Joint Business Plans and collaborating on go-to-market strategies with Commercial Enablement
  • Supporting internal and external pipeline management, aligning customer opportunities with partnership goals
  • Leading Quarterly Business Reviews, tracking vendor earnings, and analysing commercial and channel performance
  • Driving sales initiatives, incentives, and training programmes in coordination with Commercial Enablement
  • Building strong relationships across internal teams and external partners, and representing the company at UK industry events
  • Maintaining technical certifications, resolving vendor-related issues, and ensuring alignment with senior alliance leadership

We'd love you to have:

  • Experience in partnership and vendor management, ideally including Microsoft collaborations
  • Skill in leading business reviews and delivering impactful presentations
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. AZ900) and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
  • Ability to build strong, inclusive relationships across internal teams and external partners
  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail to drive performance insights and prioritise tasks effectively
