Join our Order Management Team. The Procurement department is responsible for processing all customer orders whilst achieving high standards of order accuracy. We are a highly motivated group of individuals who collectively work together to ensure that our reputation as a first-class Procurement team is upheld.
This role sits within the Support Team, providing day to day support to a busy Procurement and Sales team. This varied and fast paced role will give you insight into the overall purchasing process. Working as an integral member of the team you will be responsible for looking after the team's shared inbox which can include requests and queries from both internal and external contacts. You will also be responsible for chasing our suppliers for all outstanding orders and maintaining accurate ETA and invoice dates to ensure our customers are kept informed on the status of their order.
Responsibilities:- Invoicing order confirmations received into the inbox related to Multinational orders
- Managing full multinational backlog of orders, liaising with international suppliers on ETA dates and delivery dates
- Working with distribution and purchasers on order queries
- Providing PODs & ETAs on request
- Resourcing goods to complete orders
- Managing a busy shared inbox via Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
