The Vendor Operations Team supports Softcat's strategic vendor partnerships by managing the day to day operational, financial, and commercial elements of vendor programmes. They ensure rebates, incentives, MDF and partner reporting are accurate and compliant. Working closely with Alliance Managers, Finance and other teams, they provide strong governance, reliable data and structured processes that enable informed decision making. As a central coordination point, the team keeps vendor processes running smoothly and ensures partnership commitments are delivered effectively at scale.

The successful candidate will support the Vendor Operations team by streamlining processes and implementing improvements to boost vendor programme efficiency. They'll build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, offering strategic guidance and applying deep operational expertise to drive continuous improvement.
As a Vendor Operations Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Vendor Operations managers and wider Alliance team in delivering strategic and operational initiatives
- Planning and executing transformational projects to improve vendor alliance processes and drive efficiency
- Analysing and standardising internal and external vendor processes, including mapping and identifying areas for improvement
- Managing vendor MDF and rebate tracking, using data insights for reconciliation, ROI analysis, and reporting
- Monitoring partner statuses, certification gaps, and vendor year ends, providing regular analysis and stakeholder updates
