Join our Data Management Team

Join us as a Customer Data Management Executive and play a key role in ensuring our customer data remains accurate, trusted and valuable, helping teams across Softcat make informed decisions and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Our Customer Data Management team is responsible for maintaining a single, trusted view of customer information across Softcat. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Governance and IT teams, you'll help ensure customer data is accurate, structured and fit for purpose, supporting critical business decisions and operational success.

Your Role

Help shape and maintainSoftcat's trusted customer data, ensuring teams across the business have accurate, high-quality information to drive better decisions and customer outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating, maintaining and validating customer records across Softcat systems
  • Managing customer account structures, relationships and hierarchies
  • Identifying and resolving duplicate, incomplete or inaccurate customer data
  • Monitoring data quality and supporting data cleansing and enrichment activities
  • Investigating data issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions
  • Supporting customer data projects, including Dynamics 365 and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
  • Acting as a key contact for customer data queries and stakeholder requests
  • Promoting data standards, governance processes and best practice across the business
  • Contributing to process improvements, documentation and training materials

We'd love you to have

  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining accurate, high-quality data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues
  • Experience working with data in an administrative, operational, analytical or reporting environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with stakeholders across the business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a genuine interest in using data to improve business outcomes
  • Exposure to CRM or data management platforms (such as Dynamics 365), with knowledge of data quality, customer hierarchies, MDM or SQL being advantageous
