Your Role
The Head of Workspace Services will develop, deliver and communicate the Workspace Services strategy, supporting Softcat’s overall Technology Strategy. You will work with other business leaders to ensure service departments act efficiently to maximize returns on product and service investments and deliver a relevant and aligned proposition to new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the Workspace Services strategy, ensuring it centers on supporting and driving Softcat sales performance.
- Work with the sales leadership team and appropriate sellers to achieve the Workspace Services sales budget YoY.
- Act as a permanent member of the Tech Tower Councils, representing key stakeholders and providing clear direction and regular communication.
- Chair the Service Councils for Workspace, ensuring the portfolio offers the right services and drives collaboration for a high-quality customer experience.
- Champion the priorities across Workspace services for all relevant customers, aligned with the sales strategy.
- Ensure delivery teams are well aligned and supported, working with department leads to put relevant processes, capacity and customer centricity in place.
- Manage technology opportunities to ensure Softcat continues to deliver solutions across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Leader in technology innovation, skilled at engaging stakeholders, executives and suppliers with a commercial approach.
- Experience in a previous Workspace services role or senior technologist role across multiple sectors.
- Experience operating at a senior leadership level, either as an individual contributor or leading teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, proven history of building and maintaining relationships across the wider business and a network of senior-level industry contacts.
- Passionate about developing teams and individuals and working across departments to deliver outcomes.
