What you’ll be doing:
- In this role, you will work closely with Sales teams and cloud hyper-scalers to facilitate cloud Marketplace transactions.
- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of the cloud Marketplace by driving engagement with internal Sales teams and with customers.
- Additionally, as the Cloud Marketplace Specialist, you will be working with vendors and the cloud hyperscalers to maximise Softcat’s offerings.
To succeed in this role, you must have a working knowledge of the different cloud Marketplaces offered by the hyper-scalers and experience working within the ISV partner ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive cloud Marketplace revenue.
- Support the success of the cloud Marketplace Partner programs and funding mechanisms.
- Understand the partner network and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marketplace trends and developments.
- Provide proactive and reactive co-sell support to sellers and the Cloud Sales team, including assisting with developing proposals, demos, and other customer-facing materials.
- Continuously monitor and analyze Marketplace performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Assist Sales and Operations teams with the AWS Marketplace Channel Partner Private offer (CPPO) deal transaction process from development through distribution reconciliation.
- Own and manage cloud Marketplace enablement with Sellers to ensure greater adoption, acceleration and growth of cloud Marketplace.
- Support other Marketplace opportunities/transactions and the wider team as required.
We’d love you to have:
- Proven experience selling cloud services and working with channel partners.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud, AWS Partner Network, and hyperscaler marketplaces.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to grow revenue and support customers.
- Confidence working independently and making strategic decisions.
