They are the architects of our vendor strategy, working seamlessly across functions to ensure we have the right alignments to the right vendors to support our technology proposition. Working diligently with our vendors, they will ensure that we have the right strategic vision that aligns to our own goals and objectives, reviewing market opportunities and innovating to ensure Softcat, alongside our vendors, stays market leaders.

Empowering Cyber Security Partnerships: Building Relationships & Driving Success

As the Cyber Security Alliances Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision of three vendors within our Cyber Security technology tower. You will need to work collaboratively across the business to ensure we’re meeting the mutually agreed objectives of the partnership. You will need to work diligently to establish relationships, foster new opportunities and lead initiatives.

As a Cyber Security Alliances Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and executing Joint Business Plans, aligning with sales enablement plans, and collaborating on GTM strategies, incentives, and training.
  • Overseeing internal and external pipelines, supporting BDRs, and ensuring alignment with partnership strategies.
  • Curating and presenting Quarterly Business Reviews, and providing analytics on vendor earnings, competitor performance, and channel metrics.
  • Fostering strong internal and external partnerships and acting as a company representative at UK industry events.
  • Keeping current technical and sales certifications, and providing first-line support for vendor-related escalations.

We’d love you to have:

  • Proven experience in partnership management and vendor relations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to curate and deliver QBRs.
  • Relevant Sales and Technical certifications would be advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a track record of collaboration.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills for insights and reporting.
