You will be part of a large team of Accounts Collections Executives. The main focus of the team is to collect overdue and outstanding debt owed to the business, while also helping to resolve account queries and ensuring a smooth process from order to payment.

We are looking for Accounts Collections Executives to support our team in managing approximately 700-800 accounts. The role’s main purpose is to collect overdue payments while maintaining high levels of customer care, as Softcat prides itself on excellent support.
As an Accounts Collections Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and other departments.
- Chasing and collecting payment of invoices owed to Softcat.
- Working independently to secure payments via telephone and email.
- Collaborating with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer queries.
- Updating internal systems with communication notes related to each customer.
We\’d love you to have
- A proven track record in accounts collections, with the ability to start effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, a passion for working with people, and effective negotiation skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills, including experience with internal systems and Excel.
