Part of the Tech & Services (T&S) department at Softcat, the Services Governance & Portfolio team is a dynamic group of people who influence, define, monitor and develop Softcat's service portfolio and our ability to deliver it effectively. Our mission is to optimise Tech & Services operations for delivering our services portfolio, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and customer service excellence. The Services Improvement team drives proactive, continual improvement to how we work and how we deliver services, improving outcomes for customers and the business.

The CSI Manager operates as part of the Services Improvement team, working across Tech & Services to improve ways of working and service delivery aligned to the Service Portfolio, driving better outcomes for customers and the business. This role is responsible for turning insight and emerging improvement themes into prioritised, embedded change through collaboration and influence.
Responsibilities- Delivering end to end improvements across Tech & Services, working with teams to improve ways of working and service delivery in line with the Service Portfolio.
- Lead the design and implementation of practical improvements, ensuring changes are adopted and embedded in day-to-day delivery.
- Collaborate with Service Owners, Operational, and Tech Tower teams to align improvement activity with service strategy, and the Tech & Services Service Portfolio.
- Facilitate and enable teams to manage their own improvements, helping teams build the capability, confidence, and tools to identify issues, prioritise improvement opportunities, and implement change themselves.
- Experience working in complex, multi-team environments, leading initiatives that improve how services are delivered, how teams work together, or how outcomes are achieved.
- A strong understanding of continual service improvement (CSI), service management and service delivery, with the ability to adapt frameworks to suit the needs of the business where necessary.
- Experience turning insight and data into embedded change, designing and implementing initiatives that deliver lasting outcomes.
- Proven ability to work across teams and functions, building strong relationships and influencing without formal authority.
