Job Role & Responsibilities
- The responsibility to support and gradually undertake the entire on-boarding process for new employees is a fundamental part of this role.
- The role requires hands-on involvement in meeting, interviewing and inducting new employees to better achieve a successful long-term fit in the company.
- The responsibility to accurately and efficiently manage and maintain overall employee database records in information systems is expected.
- The incumbent will help produce up-to-date HR metrics and key indicators to support management decision making and direction.
- This role supports the entire off-boarding work processes whilst maintaining and adhering to statutory requirements, existing HR policy and practices and TAFEP guidelines.
- The administration of payroll processing, including attendance checking, incentive payment verification, OT claims, and allowances, is fundamental in this role.
- The role requires the person to be well informed at all times of current and new MoM regulations, Statutory Acts and legislations.
- This information has a direct impact on company policies and reporting and shall determine how employees’ welfare, benefits and compensation are devised.
- As part of the team, this role supports ongoing and new staff welfare and activities with an objective to achieve best-in-class work-life balance and employee satisfaction standards in the sector.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate must possess at least a Diploma in HRM / HRD / Business Administration from a recognised institution.
- The candidate should also possess excellent organizational skills with an acute ability to prioritize and execute important assignments and projects.
- The candidate must be a self-driven individual, fiercely independent and objective to assignments whilst able to work well in a team setting to meet collective departmental goals and targets.
- Proficiency in office software literacy, including MS Office Suite and Adobe Suite, is required.
- A sound working knowledge and competency in operating an HRIS with an excellent grasp of Singapore employment and related acts will be much preferred.
