As the Kitchen Porter Supervisor, you will be leading the Kitchen Porter team and ensuring all essential equipment is clean, organised, and ready for use. Reporting directly to the Back of House Manager, you will oversee food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness across all Food & Beverage areas and Back of House operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

General cleaning of all kitchen common areas sweeps and mop floors

Making sure work surfaces, dishwashing machines, floors and staff canteen are always clean and sanitised.

Supervising and coordinating the stewarding team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
-
Ensuring that the food preparation sites are clean and ready with the necessary equipment

Providing guidance and assistance to team members as needed.

Ensuring the china store remains organised.

Checking and maintaining necessary documentation related to kitchen operations.

Preparing handover and updates for the direct manager on a daily basis.

Covering sickness when required

Making sure that the Health & Safety and COSHH procedures is followed by the team in every aspect of the operation

Train the team members when necessary

To carry out any reasonable requests made by a member of the management team.

Collaborating with the BOH manager in the monthly equipment stock takes / breakage report

Monitoring stock levels in the chemical store

Monitoring the usage of chemicals and equipment in the different sections

Previous experience in a Hotel environment

Understanding and complying food hygiene regulations
