A bit about what you will do…

Plant Technicians are responsible for maintaining
the plant and machinery that keep the hotel operating safely and efficiently,
carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. The role often involves
working independently, acting as an escalation point for complex issues,
responding promptly to emergencies, and maintaining accurate records. A strong
knowledge of HVAC and building systems is required, with a focus on
preventative maintenance to minimise disruption to guests while ensuring full
compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements.

• Attend all required hotel, company and statutory
  training, and actively participate in personal development reviews.
• Support and mentor new and existing colleagues to
  ensure effective performance and teamwork.
• Wear full uniform and protective clothing at all
  times in line with safety and company standards.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene,
  professionalism and a positive image when dealing with guests.
• Deliver high standards of customer care,
  responding to guest needs and concerns politely, promptly and effectively.
• Communicate and cooperate with all departments to
  ensure efficient operations and share best practice.
• Carry out planned, preventative and emergency
  maintenance to hotel plant, equipment and guest areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety
  regulations, maintaining safe conditions and addressing hazards immediately.
• Manage maintenance records, inventories,
  inspections and energy efficiency initiatives, including BEMS systems.
