The Role
Reporting into the Process Leader, you will be responsible for managing the line in their absence and ensuring food safety and product quality in line with customer specifications and high standards. Your role will support the delivery of production plans to meet manufacturing and quality targets.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Document safety and quality start-up checks, ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements, and communicate issues to your process leader.
- Ensure the production line operates within food safety and quality standards.
- Organize the production line for optimal flow and minimal downtime, including during changeovers.
- Conduct metal detector and checkweigher checks (CCPs) as per specifications, demonstrating compliance for quality management and audits.
- Ensure ingredients, labels, and packaging are ready and compliant with requirements.
- Verify correct labeling at all process stages.
- Identify and promote process improvements through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately record data and complete all paperwork for labor and yield logs.
- Monitor product quality regularly and coach colleagues to achieve first-time conformance.
