A key role within the operations team, working closely with Production Management to drive and improve good manufacturing practice, food quality and safety.

We are looking for a motivated Team Leader to provide direction and guidance to a team, ensuring products are produced safely and to the highest quality standards. You will take personal ownership of your area, ensuring adherence to SOPs, customer requirements and company policies, while understanding and bringing out the best in your team members.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and be an effective team player.
  • Maintain a high level of factory awareness with a strong eye for detail.
  • Ensure products meet Sofina Pork standards in line with SOPs and customer requirements.
  • Uphold all legal, customer and company policies, procedures and best practice.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong background in food manufacturing, preferably in meat or FMCG production.
  • Proven leadership, coaching and people management experience.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP Level 2, and hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Experience supporting training and development within teams.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Computer literate with strong organisational skills.
  • A desire to question processes and seek improvements in efficiency.
