Warehouse Team Leader 4on4off 07:00-19:00 in Scunthorpe

Role Overview

As a Night Factory Hygiene Operative, you'll be an essential part of the team responsible for ensuring our manufacturing facility is clean, safe, and ready for production. Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you'll help protect product quality and food safety by maintaining exceptional hygiene standards across the factory and equipment.

Key Duties

• Carry out scheduled cleaning activities across production and factory areas.
• Strip down, clean, and reassemble machinery and equipment in line with site procedures.
• Clean production lines, trays, tools, and processing equipment to the required hygiene standards.
• Support deep cleaning activities within production and preparation areas.
• Complete post-clean inspections to verify cleaning standards have been achieved.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Use and maintain PPE correctly while working across different factory environments.
• Work efficiently to ensure cleaning schedules are completed within required timescales.
• Report any faults, incidents, or concerns that could impact safety, hygiene, or production.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience within a hygiene, cleaning, food manufacturing, or production environment would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Comfortable working in a physically active role, including lifting equipment and operating high-pressure cleaning equipment.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed deadlines.
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
• Adaptable and comfortable working across different areas of the factory using the appropriate PPE.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
