The Role:

Our new Sales Executive will play an important role in supporting and driving commercial activity across a portfolio of UK retail customers and brands. Sitting within a fast-paced, collaborative Commercial team, this role offers increased responsibility, customer interaction and ownership, making it a strong step up for someone building a career in FMCG sales. Working closely with National Account Managers and internal stakeholders, you’ll help deliver customer plans, manage key commercial processes and ensure promotional and product activity is executed smoothly across the UK grocery landscape. This role will be based onsite in Grimsby.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining customer pricing, data and commercial files for UK retail accounts
  • Coordinating promotional activity, including submissions, timelines and post-promo activity
  • Supporting forecasting and demand planning through accurate data management and updates
  • Leading the coordination of new product launch documentation for UK grocery customers
  • Producing sales reports and turning data into clear, actionable commercial insight
  • Providing proactive day-to-day support to National Account Managers on key retail accounts
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal teams and customers to ensure smooth commercial execution

The Ideal Candidate:

You will be:

  • Experienced in a sales, commercial or account support role within FMCG
  • Familiar with UK grocery retail customers and ways of working (experience with major UK retailers is a strong advantage)
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Confident working with data, numbers and commercial reporting
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working across multiple systems
  • A clear, confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Experience with SAP and/or UK retailer portals is beneficial, but not essential.
