Join Sofina Foods as a Pro Seal Operative and play a key role in delivering high‑quality products during our busy Christmas period. The role is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in a fast‑paced production environment where quality, accuracy and attention‑to‑detail are essential. You will operate Pro‑Seal GT2 machinery and process bacon products to meet high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Pay rate: £12.92 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Pro‑Seal GT2 machines in line with Health and Safety procedures.
- Select the correct function, programme and tooling for each production run.
- Set heater temperatures and load the appropriate film for the run.
- Position and thread film correctly, ensuring secure lock and appropriate tension.
- Complete and maintain the Film Usage Traceability Sheet (QCH089).
- Ensure trays are correctly aligned throughout the process.
- Remove and dispose of waste film appropriately.
- Identify and resolve interlock issues and clear blockages safely.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and self‑motivated.
- Accurate and focused in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Committed to high standards of quality, hygiene and safety.
