Manage with the wider business cross functional teams to implement development plans to quality, cost, and timescale, across brand/own label, for the European Pork & Seafood Divisions. Working closely with all the relevant functions, to ensure customer and site expectations are met. End to end concept to launch with critical path generation and ownership required.

The Role
Manage with the wider business cross functional teams to implement development plans to quality, cost, and timescale, across brand/own label, for the European Pork & Seafood Divisions. Working closely with all the relevant functions, to ensure customer and site expectations are met. End to end concept to launch with critical path generation and ownership required.
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of all allocated NPD projects while meeting quality and cost requirements.
  • Follow robust processes and due diligence at all stages of project development.
  • Flag any deviations from the process and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver NPD/regeneration plans effectively.
  • Hold clear accountability for critical path tasks within NPD projects.
  • Provide mentorship and training to direct reports to enhance their skills in NPD and project management.

The Ideal Candidate

  • HNC/HND in Food Science or Technology, or minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NPD.
  • Demonstrated clear project management skills and ability to lead projects from concept to launch.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with stakeholders and teams.
  • Track record of developing differentiated products and working cooperatively with multifunctional teams.
  • Strong numeracy and track record of financial accountability within NPD projects.
  • Must have a passion for food and demonstrated career experience within innovation in the food industry.
