We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join an established team in this key role. The role focuses on overseeing and driving production while balancing safety, quality, cost, operations, and people. In addition to ensuring smooth production flow, the role includes staffing, performance management, and continuous improvement to create a high-performing and efficient team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills.

- Possess a good understanding of the factory (considered an advantage).
Hourly Pay: from £13.28 per hour
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in food manufacturing, preferably in meat, with a solid understanding of FMCG production.
- Demonstrates a desire to question processes and seek improvements in efficiency.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and management experience, with a track record in people and performance management.
- Experience supporting training and development within teams.
- Skilled in effectively managing diverse teams.
- GCSE / O-level or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Computer literate.
- Familiarity with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Level 2 standards.
- Awareness of hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and a pragmatic approach.
