The Role
The logistics administrator is a key team player within the 3rd party logistics team, who will pro-actively fix and report stock issues to the relevant departments. They will provide continual support to the stock controllers and site planners and will be responsible for the maintenance and root causing of EDI messages.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Monitor & maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly reconciling stock listings against holdings sent from external locations.
- Process and root causing of failed EDI messages for all sites, raising issues & suggesting relevant areas for improvement.
- Being the key contact for site issues relating to EDI messages and stock transacting.
- Support site planning teams with stock ordering from external locations.
- Provide weekend cover for manual sales invoicing.
- Contribute to daily & weekly KPI reviews.
- Overseeing & keeping appropriate documentation where necessary
