Lead Production Teams and Drive Performance in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Line Leader to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing people, materials and production equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the Shift Manager and wider production teams, you'll lead day-to-day operations on shift, drive performance against production targets and help create a positive, engaged and safety-focused working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems and delivering results.

Key Duties

• You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
• Manage production lines to achieve safety, quality and productivity targets
• Lead, motivate and support production operatives throughout the shift
• Monitor production performance and maintain accurate KPI and data reporting
• Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment to maximise production efficiency
• Support employee training, development and performance management activities
• Maintain GMP, Food Safety, traceability and product integrity standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and assist with audits and compliance activities

Ideal Candidate

• We're looking for a confident leader with strong manufacturing experience and a passion for people development.
• Previous experience leading teams within a factory or food manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Food Safety, GMP and Health & Safety requirements
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to analyse production issues and make effective decisions under pressure
• Competent using production systems and manufacturing performance data
