Role Overview:
Are you a natural problem-solver who enjoys helping others and finding ways to improve how systems work? As an Application Support Analyst at Sofina Foods, you'll play a key role in keeping our business-critical applications running smoothly while delivering an excellent support experience to colleagues across the business.
Working as part of our Applications & Integration team, you'll support, maintain and enhance a range of enterprise applications, helping to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient and aligned with business needs.
Key Duties:
- Providing day-to-day support for business applications, resolving incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels.
- Investigating application issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
- Building strong relationships with users and acting as a trusted point of contact for application support.
- Working closely with stakeholders, IT teams and external suppliers to deliver a high-quality service.
- Supporting system upgrades, enhancements and configuration changes.
- Monitoring application performance and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Creating and maintaining support documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
- Contributing to testing, user training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in incident escalation and out-of-hours support activities when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting business applications within an IT or business environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong documentation and organisational skills.
- A willingness to learn, develop and embrace new technologies.
