We are looking for an experienced hygiene operative to join our hygiene team to maintain exceptional cleaning standards.
This vital role involves ensuring factory cleanliness post-production by following hygiene protocols and adhering to safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Responsibilities include completing daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, with weekend work required on a rota basis.
Shift Details: Monday to Thursday 20:00‑04:00 & Fridays 18:00‑01:00
Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the hygiene of the factory after the day's production is completed as per hygiene specifications.
- Ensure all equipment is in good condition before start of shift.
- Report any non‑conformances to responsible person on site as soon as possible.
- Follow good manufacturing practices at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a food production environment is advantageous.
- Understanding of chemicals and their properties.
- Basic mechanical skills for fault finding.
- Experience of working to company procedures and work instructions.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills to complete production monitoring documentation.
- Effective time management and the ability to work independently in assigned areas.
- Attention to detail is critical, as factory startup depends on maintaining high hygiene standards.
