A new opportunity to join the business in a new role, working across Engineering and Hygiene functions.
The Role
Crucial support for the hygiene function by stripping planned schedule machinery, cleaning, rebuilding, re-greasing, re-setting, replacing worn parts, carrying out PPMs and CI work, on all plant machinery, to identify and diagnose possible issues. Critical for supporting reduction in lost time for the Engineering function.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Daily strip and build in High risk & Process (Including deep clean according to schedule)
- Rebuild machines according to the next day's plan
- Polycord checks/replacement
- Belt survey & replace if necessary
- Blade sharpening
- Daily report
- Machine check sheets
The Ideal Candidate
- On the job and external training will be given to all candidates.
- General knowledge to strip and build
- General machine knowledge, preferably within a FMCG environment.
- Detail focused.
- Ability to work in dynamic teams.
