Summary
We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals to join our outdoor pig‑farming operations in the Inverness area.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and is open to learning. While experience in agriculture is an advantage, it’s not essential – we’ll provide comprehensive training to help you thrive.
Due to the rural locations of our farms, having your own transport is essential.
Compensation
- Starting Rate: £12.21
- Experienced Rate (12 months+): £12.61
- Senior Rate: £13.50
Hours of Work
Monday‑Thursday 8 am to 5 pm (approx). Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Weekend work is required on a rota basis. Every third Thursday 4 am to 1 pm (start time varies seasonally).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Working with pigs on an outdoor unit, including feeding, moving, serving, and handling the pigs.
- Working as part of a team to maintain and uphold the highest standards of animal welfare.
- Following Health and Safety procedures and supporting management in fostering a positive safety culture.
- Maintaining the overall appearance and condition of the farm.
- Safely and effectively operating farm machinery.

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A self‑starter with good reliability and timekeeping.
- Open to learning new skills and working as part of a supportive team.
- Able to travel to remote sites independently.
- Agricultural experience helpful but not required – we’ll help you build the knowledge and skills you need.
