We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Production Operatives / General Operatives to join our Butchery Team at our pork production facility in Cookstown. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, food safety, and hygiene standards are essential. We are also recruiting Trainee Butchers who are eager to develop their skills and build a career within the food production industry. We offer a range of full‑time day shift patterns, with both permanent and fixed‑term contracts available, working Monday to Friday.

  • 05:45 – 14:45
  • 06:00 – 15:30
  • 06:30 – 16:00
  • 07:00 – 16:30

Pay rate: £12.84 – £13.79 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Cutting, trimming, processing and preparing pork products
  • Packing and stacking finished goods
  • Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards
  • Supporting the smooth and efficient running of our production lines

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a production environment is desirable (but full training is provided)
  • Strong awareness of health & safety standards
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • High levels of personal hygiene and cleanliness
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
