Join our high-performing team and help drive production excellence. In this role, you’ll ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly and safely. You’ll manage raw materials, labour, equipment, and the safe operation of your area while supporting production. Using your expertise in Production and Packing, you’ll collaborate with teams to meet food quality standards, prioritise safety, and lead innovative projects. Your work will create a safer, more efficient workplace and drive meaningful results.

Shift Pattern: 2x8 rotation (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00)

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a professional and trusted advisor to your Line Manager in all production and packing/distribution matters relating to the relevant site.
  • Regular constructive engagement with and coordination of the broader teams (other sites, HSE departments) to facilitate the local delivery of site production goals.
  • Act as a role model for safety behaviours on site and deliver quantifiable results in reporting safety issues, health issues and deal with these proactively.
  • Liaise with the Management on site for any safety reasonable requests.
  • Responsible for own health and safety in area in line with company procedures from handbooks, signage, induction, notifications and training documentation.
  • Report any safety, health or environmental incidents without delay to Line Manager.
  • Coach fellow work colleagues and new members of the One Young's team on health and safety in area in line with company procedures.
  • Active health, safety and environmental improvement of the area in which you operate within.
  • Ensure area complies with high safety standards and take active participation in health, safety and environmental audits.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent).
  • Ability to work with peers in a matrix structure to draw in external skills to achieve local goals.
  • Track record of delivery.
  • Personal commitment to role model behaviours.
  • Previous experience of checking and completing paperwork to a highly accurate standard.
